Post-Bar Associate with 1 to 4 Years of Experience – Newport Beach

Newmeyer & Dillion, LLP is a multi-service law firm that provides both litigation and transactional representation in various practice areas including government, land use, and environmental (GLUE).  Our government and land use work encompasses real estate and project due diligence, entitlements, CEQA, eminent domain, permitting, licensing, and many related areas.  The environmental practice focuses on sites impacted by hazardous substances, in all media (soil, vapor, and groundwater), including due diligence, investigation and cleanup, insurance, allocation of responsibility, and regulatory agency interactions.  GLUE clients include large and small builders, developers, owners, tenants, corporations, trusts, and individuals, with projects throughout California and nationally.  GLUE litigates in state and federal courts and appears before various administrative bodies. 

Job Requirements

We are seeking a post-bar associate to join our Government, Land Use, & Environmental (GLUE) practice areas in the Newport Beach office.  The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience, including litigation, a strong work ethic, impeccable attention to detail, professional demeanor, excellent writing, verbal, and research skills, and a desire to build a career in Orange County.  Candidates for this position must be admitted to the California State Bar and have credentials from an ABA-approved law school.  While not required, a technical background would be considered favorably.
