Biography
Uliana A. Kozeychuk is a litigation associate in the Newport Beach office.
Ms. Kozeychuk received her first law degree from Irkutsk State University School of Law in Russia in 2002, graduating with high honors with B.A. and M.A. in Jurisprudence, a U.S. Juris Doctor degree equivalent. Ms. Kozeychuk was admitted to practice of law in Russia on diploma privilege and is currently in good standing.
Ms. Kozeychuk attended Loyola Law School where she obtained her Juris Doctor and graduated in 2008 in the top 15% of her class. While at Loyola, Ms. Kozeychuk was involved in a number of co-curricular activities, splitting her time between serving as an Executive Research Editor on the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review and heading the Scott Moot Court Honors Board as the Chief Justice.
During her law school years, Ms. Kozeychuk was a semi-finalist of the 2005 Susan E. McGuigan Oral Advocacy Competition and a recipient of 2006 CALI Excellence for the Future Award for the highest grade in Legal Skills and the Best Brief Award in the 2007 Scott Moot Court Competition. Ms. Kozeychuk was also a Night President/Liaison of the Loyola Law School’s Real Estate Law Society, and a member of St. Thomas More law honor society open to students in the top 15% of their class. Based on her academic credentials and community service, Ms. Kozeychuk was selected for post-graduation membership in Alpha Sigma Nu honor society.
Prior to her admission to Loyola Law School, Ms. Kozeychuk received a paralegal certificate from the Extension Program at University of California, Irvine, and worked as a litigation paralegal.
Ms. Kozeychuk was born in Siberia and is fluent in Russian.
Ms. Kozeychuk recently co-authored an article titled “Are Your Trade Secrets Safe?” published in the Orange County Business Journal, Vol. 32, No. 8, Feb. 23 - Mar. 1, 2009.
