Biography
Stephen Hauptman is a partner in the Newport Beach office and focuses his practice on business, construction, and real estate litigation.
Mr. Hauptman has extensive experience in all areas of business law, ranging from corporate formation and transactions to general business and securities litigation.
Mr. Hauptman received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Duke University in 1999. While at Duke, he lettered as a varsity athlete on the soccer team which earned a berth to the NCAA National Championship in 1995. Mr. Hauptman received his Juris Doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and the Society of Bar and Gavel. While at law school, Mr. Hauptman also served as a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he successfully prosecuted a criminal bench trial to a guilty verdict.
Mr. Hauptman is admitted to practice law in California and Florida, as well as in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He is also a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
