Biography
Melinda M. Luthin is an associate in the Newport Beach office.
Miss Luthin has a varied civil litigation practice involving business, real estate, construction, and insurance disputes. She has represented businesses and individuals in complex, multi-million dollar lawsuits involving breach of contract, securities litigation, intellectual property, and unfair business practices. Miss Luthin also represents clients in a number of real estate disputes involving issues such as construction defects, environmental contamination and compliance, as well as eminent domain and inverse condemnation.
Miss Luthin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Davis. True to her Aggie roots, Miss Luthin received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis, School of Law, where she graduated in the top five percent of her class and became a member of the Order of the Coif. During her law school career, Miss Luthin received the Wilkin Award of Excellence for top grades in Property Law, Real Estate Finance Law and Evidence. She was also appointed to the Trial Practice Honor Board.
