Biography
Christopher Connelly is an associate in the Newport Beach office focusing his practice on business, construction and real estate litigation as well as insurance law.
As a former Project Manager overseeing the development and construction of large commercial projects, Mr. Connelly utilizes his extensive construction experience to provide developers and general contractors with practical and effective representation in all aspects of complex construction matters, including insurance coverage claims, breach of contract, misrepresentation, unfair business practice, and fraud.
Following his graduation from Pepperdine University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Mr. Connelly attended the Pepperdine School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1999.
Prior to Joining Newmeyer & Dillion, Mr. Connelly spent four years in the Commercial Construction industry as a Project Manager for the Western Region of Clark Construction. His responsibilities included managing successful bids for the Clovis Medical Center and Disney’s Carland amusement park expansion, as well as managing the day-to-day construction operations of the $121 million Pasadena Convention Center Project and closeout of the $565 million LAX International Terminal expansion and renovation project.
In his free time, Mr. Connelly devotes his life to his wife and their two boys.
