Biography
Ms. Schlecht is an associate in the Newport Beach office, and concentrates her practice in the area of business litigation.
She has significant experience in matters involving contract disputes, unfair competition claims, copyright, trademark, and right-of-publicity infringement actions, excessive executive compensation claims, and prosecution and defense of provisional remedies in both federal and state jurisdictions. Ms. Schlecht’s work on behalf of the former Chairman and CEO of a local pharmaceuticals company in a securities class action lawsuit resulted in publication of In re ICN Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Sec. Litig., 299 F. Supp. 2d 1055 (C.D. Cal. 2004).
Ms. Schlecht received her Bachelor of Arts in international relations from the University of Southern California in 1992. She graduated Order of the Coif and cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1997, where she was Associate Editor of the San Diego Law Review.
