As an associate in the firm’s Newport Beach office, Ms. Lincoln focuses her practice on all aspects of business litigation – representing clients on matters involving breach of contract, fraud, negligence, breach of fiduciary duties, and other related issues. She has experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in California state and federal courts.
Ms. Lincoln recently graduated from the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s (LACBA) Trial Advocacy Project (TAP), which qualified her to serve as a volunteer prosecutor for the Anaheim City Attorney’s Office in early 2014.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Lincoln was a litigation associate for Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in downtown Los Angeles. With a practice covering both white collar and complex commercial litigation, Ms. Lincoln represented clients through SEC and AG investigations; alleged violations under federal securities laws and the False Claims Act; administrative appeals and corresponding tax refund requests; and general business disputes concerning contracts, unfair business practices, and violations of local city ordinances.
Ms. Lincoln graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and dual minors in Philosophy and International Studies. In 2010, Ms. Lincoln received her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. While at Berkeley, Ms. Lincoln served as a Submissions Editor and Staff Editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal (BBLJ). She also served as a judicial extern/intern for three federal judges:
