Biography
Ms. Martin is an associate in the Newport Beach office and her practice focuses on complex business litigation.
She has significant experience in intellectual property litigation, including trademark and trade secret matters. She also has experience in employment law, concentrating on wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour disputes and misappropriation of trade secrets.
Ms. Martin received her undergraduate degree in business economics from the University of San Diego in 1995. In 1999, she graduated with honors from McGeorge School of Law and received the American Jurisprudence Award in civil procedure and contracts. She also served as a teacher’s assistant for contracts and criminal law.
While in Northern California, Ms. Martin was a member of the Santa Clara Bar Association. She served as a mock trial judge for competitions at Stanford and Santa Clara. Ms. Martin has also been active in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization.
