Biography

Jennifer Lyons is a partner in the Newport Beach office.  She specializes in the representation of developers, general contractors, and retail and service companies in complex business, contract, and construction disputes.  This includes serving as Regional Litigation Counsel for a Fortune 100 company. 

Ms. Lyons has an active trial practice, and to hone her skills she recently participated in the Orange County District Attorney’s Trial Attorney Partnership (“TAP”) Program.  She practices in both federal and state courts and has argued before the Second and Fourth Appellate Districts of California, including one published decision resulting therefrom. 

Ms. Lyons obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a specialization in Business Administration.  She obtained her Juris Doctorate from University of Southern California, serving as Editor on the Moot Court Honors Program Executive Board. 

Ms. Lyons is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, the Orange County Bar Association Construction Law and Business Law sections, and Commercial Real Estate Women (“CREW”).  She is a trustee of the November 10th Association and has lent her time as a judge for the Constitutional Rights Foundation Mock Trial Competition.
