He has significant experience in the litigation of complex disputes concerning commercial transactions, real estate matters, lender and broker liability, supply-chain disputes, mechanic’s liens, bonded stop notices, payment disputes concerning construction projects, insurance coverage, unfair competition, business interference, trade secrets, foreclosures and partnership disputes.

Mr. Bowerbank has prevailed at trial as lead trial counsel in jury trials. Mr. Bowerbank has also successfully tried bench trials. For example, he obtained a judgment valued in excess of $7,000,000 on behalf of a client involved in a real estate development project. In another trial, Mr. Bowerbank obtained a defense judgment for a publicly traded company in Orange County that had been sued by a European company in a breach of contract and fraud case alleging failure to pay royalties under a license agreement. Mr. Bowerbank has also obtained pre-judgment remedies for clients, including writs of attachment involving secured/unsecured collections, and motions for preliminary injunction involving trademarks, unfair competition and trade secrets.

Mr. Bowerbank received his law degree from the University of Southern California. He also received his Bachelor of Arts with Honors from University of California at Santa Barbara. Mr. Bowerbank recently served as an Assistant Deputy District Attorney (TAP Attorney) with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in the Trial Attorney Partnership Program. He has been published in Orange County Lawyer, California Real Estate Journal and Builder and Developer.  Mr. Bowerbank was named to the roster of 2009 and 2010 Southern California Rising Stars, a compilation of the area’s up-and-coming attorneys from the Law & Politics magazine.  Mr. Bowerbank is admitted to practice in Federal and State courts within California.
