Biography
Rhonda K. Kreger is an associate in the Newport Beach office and is a member of the Transactional Department. Her practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate law, with a particular emphasis on the representation of institutional clients and developers.
Her experience includes acquisitions and sales of real property, private financing, public bond financing, affordable housing, Section 42 tax credit transactions, property management, leasing, land use, and tax. Prior to joining Newmeyer & Dillon LLP, Ms. Kreger served as in-house counsel for an unregulated affiliate of a public electric utility, advising the company is all aspects of its investment portfolio, including its tax credit multifamily and energy portfolio. She also has experience with work-out financing, foreclosures, bankruptcy, insurance and risk management, partnership syndications, corporate governance and transactions.
Ms. Kreger received her Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Rice University in 1978, and received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 2002. While at Loyola, Ms. Kreger was awarded First Honors in Ethical Lawyering, Corporate Taxation, and Trial Advocacy. Ms. Kreger was admitted to the California Bar in 2002.
